KDP HTML Description Wizard
Instructions
- Write your book description in the text area below – (IMPORTANT! – Insert Plain Text Only – Do not copy & paste from word or websites, etc.. for best results type description directly into the text box.)
- Use the options on the toolbar to format your description using KDP approved HTML code tags.
- Once you’ve completed your description, click the “Get KDP Code” button then Copy & Paste the HTML code into the Decription Section for your book listing in your KDP Account.
- KDP Book description can be up to 4000 characters (about 600 words).
- It should be an objective summary of the book’s subject matter similar to the back cover on most books.
- Book descriptions should Not include Phone numbers, mail addresses, URLs.
- We recommend you read the KDP Description Guidelines before publishing your book.
